Location
The Soundlabs Festival has been taking place for the last fourteen years in Roseto degli Abruzzi, a small seaside town on the Adriatic,
at the edge of the snow-capped Appenin Mountains.
Located between the rivers Tordino and Vomano, Roseto’s coast is one of the most beautiful in the entire Abruzzo region, with ten kilometres of wide sandy beaches. Roseto degli Abruzzi has a
railway station, a dock for tourist boats, easy access to
Highway A14, about 40 hotels and numerous restaurants
and cafés. Highway SS150, which follows the Vomano Valley,
takes you from Roseto directly to the Gran Sasso (2912 m),
the highest peak in the Appenin Mountains. You can also reach
Roseto from Rome by Highway A24.
In the hills surrounding Roseto are numerous ancient medieval
forts and towns like nearby Montepagano, Atri, Silvi Alta,
Tortoreto Alta e Colonnella.
Abruzzo International Airport, 30 km south of Roseto, offers low
cost connections towards some important italian (Milano, Cagliari,
Catania) and european (Londra, Barcellona, Parigi, Bruxelles, Oslo)
cities.
